The BDU
(Battle Dress Uniform) Patrol Cap is one of the most recognizable pieces of
legacy U.S. Military headgear, serving as the standard field utility cover
throughout the 1980s, 1990s, and into the early 2000s. Featuring the iconic Woodland
Camouflage pattern (ERDL/M81), this cap is engineered with a structured,
flat-top design and a short sun visor. This specific winter-weight or
intermediate version features a clever, concealable fleece or flannel ear
flap system stitched inside the brim that can be flipped down to protect
the ears and neck during cold mornings, or folded up seamlessly into the crown
when the temperature rises.

condition, these patrol caps carry authentic character from previous field
service. While they may display typical signs of use—such as light fading of
the Woodland pattern, internal sweatband wear, or handwritten soldier
