The MARPAT Woodland Radio Pouch is a specialized component of the APB03 (Assault Pack Board 2003) system, part of the legacy ILBE (Improved Load Bearing Equipment) suite. Engineered specifically for the United States Marine Corps, this pouch is designed to securely house and protect tactical handheld radios (such as the AN/PRC-148 MBITR or similar sized units) during high-intensity operations. Constructed from 725 or 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon, it features the iconic Digital Woodland MARPAT pattern, providing excellent signature reduction in forest and jungle environments.
In New (Unissued) condition, this pouch offers the crisp colors and rigid structural integrity of factory-fresh gear. It utilizes a versatile MOLLE/PALS attachment system, allowing it to be mounted to the ILBE Main Pack, Assault Pack, or any tactical vest and battle belt. Its open-top design, secured by an adjustable shock-cord and buckle, ensures that operators can access frequency controls and antennae without removing the radio from the pouch.
