side-by-side configuration. Issued broadly during the U.S. Army's Universal
Camouflage Pattern (UCP) era, this pouch features individual compartments for
each magazine rather than stacking them front-to-back. This horizontal,
low-profile layout distributes weight flat against the body, minimizing bulk
and allowing tactical operators to stay lower to the ground when in a prone
position.
