Woodland Nylon Wet Weather Tactical Poncho is a classic, battle-proven
foul-weather utility garment engineered for the United States Armed Forces.
Designed to provide comprehensive waterproofing and environmental isolation in
high-rain, jungle, or temperate environments, this versatile poncho safeguards
the operator and their field gear from torrential downpours, high humidity, and
mud. Unlike lightweight civilian rain gear, this military-issue platform is
built from heavy-duty, urethane-coated ripstop nylon to maintain durability
without adding unnecessary weight to a load-bearing setup.
Finished in the
iconic U.S. Military Woodland Camouflage pattern (M81), this poncho is
constructed with dynamic utility in mind. Beyond serving as personal rainwear,
its perimeter is outfitted with high-strength metal grommets and heavy-duty
snap fasteners along the edges. This allows operators to quickly transform the
garment into an emergency field shelter, lean-to, ground tarp, or overhead
shade canopy. Furthermore, it is designed to snap directly together with the
standard military poncho liner ("woobie") to form a lightweight,
insulated sleep system for mild or damp nights.

military surplus. It retains its crisp factory camouflage printing, completely
intact internal urethane waterproofing, fully functional brass grommets, firm
