The USGI ACU
Hydration System is the standard-issue hydration solution designed for U.S.
Army personnel to maintain peak performance and readiness in the field. Built
around a 100oz (3.0 Liter) capacity, this system features a rugged, insulated
carrier in Universal Camouflage Pattern (ACU). Unlike civilian hydration
packs, this carrier is constructed from 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon,
making it incredibly resistant to punctures and abrasions. The insulated lining
is designed to keep water cool for hours, even in high-heat environments.
Equipped with
integrated, adjustable shoulder straps and a sternum strap, the carrier can be
worn as a standalone backpack. It also features MOLLE/PALS webbing on
the back, allowing it to be attached directly to a larger rucksack or tactical
vest. In Used surplus condition, this system includes a pre-owned 100oz
bladder. All components are inspected for functional buckles and straps. While
they may show signs of field use—such as light fading, "dusty"
surplus character, or unit markings—they remain a durable, cost-effective
choice for hiking, biking, and outdoor work.
