U.S. G.I. OD Rubber Shovel Cover w/ ALICE Keepers – Used
The U.S. Military Rubber Shovel Cover is the classic, heavy-duty protective sheath designed for the standard tri-fold entrenching tool. Often referred to as the "rubberized" or "plastic" E-Tool carrier, this cover was a staple of the ALICE (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) system before the transition to nylon MOLLE gear. It is engineered to protect both the shovel from the elements and the soldier’s other gear from the sharp, serrated edges of the spade.
Constructed from injection-molded EVA/rubberized polymer, this carrier is virtually indestructible and naturally waterproof. It features a fold-over flap secured by two heavy-duty lift-the-dot snaps. On the reverse side, it includes the classic metal ALICE keepers (sliding clips), allowing it to be mounted to a pistol belt, rucksack, or any webbing system. As Used surplus, these covers offer that authentic "old school" military aesthetic and rugged functionality that modern fabric covers often lack.
